Extrudle is run by Tech Camp Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 10057276; registered office 1 Minerva House, Calleva Park, Aldermaston, Reading RG7 8NA). This page says what we keep about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it. We keep as little as we can.

Without an account

You can design, check and export models without an account. Your model is kept only in your own browser. We don't know who you are, and we use no tracking or advertising cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.

With an account

Your email address, to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
Your display name, the only thing ever shown with your designs (a made-up name is best).
That you said you're 13 or over, and when you agreed to the terms.
Your saved projects, so you can open them on any device.
Your plan, and how much of your AI allowance you've used.

We keep these to provide the service you signed up for (the legal basis is our contract with you). We never sell them or use them for advertising.

Sharing and featured designs

A design you share is visible to anyone with its link. On a free account, designs you save may also be featured on Extrudle; on Maker they stay private unless you share them. Before a design is shared or featured, photos you traced over in a sketch are taken out, and a featured design's names and any personal details in it are removed. Don't put personal details (a full name, a school, an address) in your designs.

The AI chat

If you use the AI chat, your messages, any pictures you attach and your model are sent to Anthropic and/or OpenAI to make the reply. Neither uses them to train its models. Don't send anything private in the chat.

Who else handles your data

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores saved projects and shared designs.
WorkOS handles signing in (your email address, and Google if you sign in with Google).
Stripe takes payments for the Maker plan. We never see your card details.
Anthropic and OpenAI answer the AI chat, as above.

Cookies

With an account, one cookie keeps you signed in. Nothing else.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it (in your account menu) removes your account, your saved projects and your Maker plan at once. Payment records Stripe must keep by law stay with Stripe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we keep about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it: email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

You need to be 13 or over to have an account. Anyone can use Extrudle without one.
